    250SX battery reloading problem

My battery is not reloading good!
I did a multimeter test on the battery, and when my SX wasn't running, it was 12,54V, i started the engine, it was now 12,48V and when i was giving a lil throttle to it, it was 12,52V....on my dad's Fourtrax it climbed to 14V when he gave it some throttle...
I changed the left-side cover (with the part on it, of course), and it wasn't working anymore...help me plz !!!
    Go big or go home!!

    Hello,
Sounds like your stator assembly is no good or not connected. Check your connections and if they are hooked up your stator is bad. With the engine running you should be reading at least 1 volt higher than when the engine is off. Just went through this on my bike also. On my bike the starter reduction gears broke and the metal pieces got into the stator and chewed all to pieces.
    Good Luck,

I got a 250sx motor in my golf cart and it only gets a 13volt reading during rev'ing. As long as it increases I'm not worried.
