I don't really know if you would call it leading link. They are the first suspension front ends for the 90 that I remember. I don't remember other front suspension kits hitting the market before them. And like someone I was having a conversation earlier today with reminded me, they weren't really the greatest or cushiest riding by far, but they were somewhat better than no suspension. Some people raced them, but most racers stuck with aftermarket non suspended front ends. Most people went with beefier front ends and some who had the extra dough, went with the chromoly front ends to save a little weight, but alot of the stock front forks buckled in tangles with other racers trikes. And some of the aftermarket front ends had provisions of a second and even third location to move your front axle farther forward of fork center. I just traded off a really nice steel 2 positon set of chrome front forks to a member on here for a deal on an aftermarket 350x extended swingarm. Also the Rutt Ryders main claim to fame was as the front end of a certain magazines project trike that had been seen in these forums many moons ago.
