looks good! man that pipe sticking out!!!! time to cut and reweld to make it shorter and fit nicer, but hey it works

I assume it was pretty much bolt on? if so, I may consider this as my next proejct!!

Excellent, it's nice to hear from someone that knows the kits are working. I have heard of guys building motors for the EX for years obvisouly, but I never knew of anyone that kept the thing long enough to get a reliability report. LOL, yeah that header sticks out a lot!!! I don't where DG came up with that thing at! I'm waiting to hear back from someone regarding the FMF pipes, supposedly they mount up really well. Yes the motor is virtually a direct a bolt in. You need a few spacers, and couple of bolts for a mount or two ( still haven't taken time to get them ), but that's really it. No welding or torches used! I would definitley recommend the swap, anyone with normal tools can pull it off too.

Ok, thanks for the info. Seems like I saw a pipe with a short header that had a mid pipe too. Not sure where I saw it and what brand it was. I have the exact same issue obviously with the airbox. I wasn't really even thinking about cutting the boot to make it fit the EX. That will solve my dilema. Thanks, I appreciate!
