    225DX gas cap?

    Anybody have a good source for a gas cap for a 225DX or know what other models fit? Can I get one from my Yamaha dealer? Or do I need to find a used one? The one I have now is broken

    ive seen them on ebay. where is it broke can you repair it? do you have all the pieces? if so you could get some jb weld and put it back together then file and sand then repaint.

    haha it works though. i ran one that was crap on my 200k for like a month before i found another one lol i ended up borrow one of my yz 250 frame

    the one on there now is crap. basically I have the threaded part, the top part, and everything in between is gone. It has been cobbled together with some sort of lid from a plastic jug. But I got lucky, called the local yamaha dealer and believe it or not, they have one in stock. So I'm guessing it has a few different applications. My ytm 200 cap was too small to fit, but gonna go pick upa brand new one tomorrow
