Leaking fuel filter

Will air getting into the fuel filter cause enough of a vacum leak to stall motor or keep from getting enough gas to start?

if fuel is above the lower fuel line headed towards the carb it is fine.none of my fuel filters are completely filled with gas.

Hey Harry, you have a picture of a correct fuel filter set up?

i use an inline filter between the tank and the carb,see if this works,dont know if you can see it or not.right after the petcock
