    Stupid Piston Question

    Ok, I have a really stupid question. It's been several years since I rebuilt a engine. which way does the arrow on the piston face
    exhaust port or the intake?

    On my Tecate it faces towards the exhaust or forwards
    Rides:

    Yes the arrow toward the exhaust also the larger valve relief on the piston is always the intake side .

    I wish I would have asked this question last year, I went through 3 pistons putting them in the wrong way, I have since asked when in doubt.
    85 350x 12:1 piston and porting by "boosted96cobra"
    4 85 tecates 1 runs
    5 84 tecates none run
    1 84 Yamaha Zinger, mildly ported & polished, milled, bored .25 over finally running
    2 atc 90's just parts bikes
    00 rm250
    93 kx500
    2 Honda 200m parts bikes
