    Thumb Buddy

I was at a local shop yesterday and seen a product put out by Moose Racing called the "Thumb Buddy" Me personally, I have a problem with my throttle hand after a while on those rocky arse trails, where my hand goes numb after a while, because of the thumb throttle....
Anybody ever use one of these? pros-cons?
It was only $15.95, so it wouldn't hurt the wallet so bad if I didn't like it after the install
any and all feedback will greatly be appreciated

I have 2 of them, one on the wifes quad and one on my Bigred. Was not worth the money IMO.
I will sell you 2 of them (gently used) for the price of one shipped.

these guys on a stunt bike forum im on buy a setup where you can switch between thumb throttle AND twist throttle. I think, but dont remember 100%, that you can have it so only 1 way works at a time, or both if you want. That would really help when your hand goes numb from thumb throttle ( i been there before its horrible) and then just switch over to twist throttle with the flip of a little lever on the bars.

those setups arent that cheap though. i'd convert to a twist, those dont fatigue your hands like the thumbs do.

I think Roy-Boy already had the twist and didn't like it. C'mon Roy, don't be a chick. Thumb or twist, take your pick!

I didn't like it because it seemed to bulky. I never had one on my bike rode one that had it. I like twist throttles on things. They do take some gettin use to, especially on a 3 wheeler. I say buy the ones from jeswinehart (sounds like he will give you a good deal) and see if you like them, everyone is different.

A fella dropped a quad off at the shop awhile back and it had a twisty. But it was just a grip that had a arm that stuck out and when you twisted the throttle the arm moved the thumb throttle, like you normally would. Meant to ask him about it, but he picked it up on a day when I was off.

Just fond em, while cruising the net. Cabela's has em. Called the Handy Throttle. Not cheaper by a long shot $39.99. But an alternative to the elongated thumb throttles and exspensive twisty.
