    3 wheelers are unsafe?

Me and a buddy went to the local riding area here in manhattan, ks. He just picked up a banshee a month or so ago so still has the bug to ride all the time even when its way cold out. We have got around 10 inches of snow around here and I didnt wanna get my 450 or the r outplus there was way too much snow, so I just hung around and rode around on his banshee alittile when he wasnt.
I was walking around reading all the signs around and saw these.
This one says that 2, 3 and 4 wheelers are allowed.

This one says that they are unsafe

Just one pic to show how much snow we got this year around here. Alot more than normal.

apparently they are, when i took a safety course, the instructor marked the box on the back of the completion card for safe and responsible riding pracatices, "i have to mark that because of the thing you ride." it was my 250sx at the time. i told him he was crazy and asked if he wanted to take it for a spin. people can think what they want, as long as they don't take them completely away from us.

never been hurt on any of my three wheelers, Been hurt at least 4 times on my yfz450r. More power and confindence will get you eventually. Its all dangerouse if you dont know what your doing
and all the statistics were taken years ago when trikes far out numbered quads. If they did it again im sure quad and bike accident would far out number trikes.... so where does that leave us???

I'd have had trouble believing it, if you hadn't posted the pictures. Absolutely ludicrous...

Holy Friggin Crap! What a bunch of Commie State BS!

    I had no idea.

I have a 13 and a 15-year old riding an R and a Z in Michigan.....so I guess they're outlaws until they get down here for the summers with their 'wheelers. They ride on their mother's property and not many people see them, so maybe that's the only reason the Gestapo hasn't gotten them yet.

They don't have an ORV Safety Certificate, either....but they do have parents that closely monitor their riding. Not to mention a Dad that was racing a 250R(and other machines) on tracks in Alabama when he was 13 and 14-years old back in the '80s that has worked hard to teach them the basics and more of transitioning from dirt bikes to 3-wheelers.

But......I guess the State knows best and we must bow to the wisdom of the politicians that are ordained by God to save us from ourselves.

    Military Intelligence

The sheet in the first picture says "open to...3-Wheeled Motorized Vehicles..."

The sheet in the second picture says "Never use a 3-wheeler. They are unsafe and no longer manufactured."

Looks like Friendly Fire waiting to happen.

The bridge is open. Never cross the bridge, it is unsafe.

Buckets are unsafe. Never use a bucket.

Just don't sneak up on one sitting in the garage. You spook 'em, they flip.....sometimes landing on someone 10-feet away.

This is the same government that some people want to run health care and control global warming. Stupid is as stupid does.
