will a trx shock fit the 86 250r? what is the difference?

I see lots of trx shocks for sale and got to wondering if they will fit the atc?

anyone know?

I have a elka elite from a TRX on my 86 R.

It has a long line, so what I ended up doing is cutting a 3/4 down gap on the airbox and running the rezi line over it with rad hose scrubbers ziptied on.
Then I mounted it on the subframe with the rubber half C's like normal.

Yes it fits, You should get the TRX linkage because the bottom shock bolt is bigger. You will also need to use washers on the top shock mount as the ATC mount is about a 1/4 inch wider. Not sure about the shock valving, But it works for me.
