I 2nd the question. I have been advertising locally for 110 parts/machines, and have gotten two replies for a 125m.

In this article, it is referenced that the original poster had a 110 converted to 125m:

It sure looks like the same frame and plastics, so is it just the upgraded engine w/ electric start? Is the tranny the same? If so, is that why I see a lot of tranny problems for the 125m, and none mentioned for the 110?

Good question...but I've never heard of the 125M having tranny problems...? What are you referring to?

Well, it could be a complete coincidence...

    Here is my thought pattern:
Someone answered my craiglist ad with a 125m with transmission problems. (I haven't gotten any details on it yet.)

I have absolutely zero experience with the 125m, so I did a search here, and three threads showed up:
    http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...on-part-needed
    http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...-125m-low-gear
    http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...-when-shifting

BTW, while looking for the tranny info, I ran across this quote: "The 125m and 110 have the same sub trans. shaped differently but insides go together the same way."

I have a 1985 atc 125m that had taken the low gear and the cross over shaft out of the sub transmission and the other one I have was just a lose bolt on the shift locater lobe!

Cool. Hopefully this one I'm looking at will be an easy fix...
