I thought the guys in chat told you where to get it. I bought mine aftermarket through the local Honda shop they have an aftermarket book with them listed. A good parts man should lead you in the right direction.

    power band

I got mine at the local hotrod shop. Just tell them what you have, and the size of the power band you are looking for. The stock replacements are cheap, but the big bands are spendy. :-D

I hope you have a good tailor. Your pants legs will need extended big time. Everyone has been pulling your leg. lol
You can not add a powerband. The powerband is the area at which your motor produces the most power. To gain a stronger powerban you need to do modifications to the motor, exhaust, carb, ect.

Sorry Guys. I had to set things straight.

Manny, shoot me an email, when I moved the other day and cleaned out my shed, I found two aftermarket powerbands I had "aquired" for my '82R right before It was stolen. Howdy actually sold me the one - the CT racing Powerband 5000 (I dont know if he remembers though - too much cough syrup) - he gave me a great price for it too - I got it in a trade for a Delorto four barrel two stroke carb off a 1969 Hodaka Scrambler 5 wheeler, and for a vintage Left handed smoke shifter for when he fires up the still. The other powerband is off a Buick 25hp outboard, but everyone here seems to think it'll slip right in to the canuter - Buick and Honda were in a 2-stroke engine research and building development partnership back in the early 80's which culminated in the birth of the legendary "Grand National".

you guys are wrong....what a sucker
The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
