Uh...ok, but is that all you have to prove they're back in production? Some guy riding by on the ice?

Sorry guys, my dumb brain forgot the name of it, but there was a name on the side, and it is a production piece. It folds up and stows away the guy told me. The name was like snow"something" or snowsled, something like that. I was trying to google it, but couldn't figure it out. The tires are inner tubes with a special stud thingy strapped to it for the ice. If I see him again I will write it down, or take a picture or something.

    It's a step above this:

Anyone else notice the ice auger mounted to it? Looks home-made.

I want to put an auger on my quad. Just need an auger, then build a mount and slide so that I can actually drill without removing it.

It wasn't home made, I am 99% sure of it. I got to see it close up, and there was a printed name on the frame that didn't look home made. The guy told me it folds up and goes in your trunk.

BTW, I found this while trying to find what that was:

Hmm. I haven't seen anything like it online, almost looks like the old old old american made ones from the early Honda ATC days. Just this one sits higher.

Maybe they're made by a small company and only sold at that one store? Definitely interesting.

Somebody refresh my memory....the ban sunsetted after 10 years, right? Didn't the CPSC renew it just recently? It seems like we saw some Chinese trikes here and there for a while, but I haven't seen any recently. Haven't been looking either...they were mostly crap.

to hell with the ban we should just start building our own and sell them in private sales, could you imagine some of the deathtraps we would end up with, these thoughts remind me of the cover of the bat out of hell album

haha, thats awesome, looks like somthing me and a buddy of mine made, just we made a fourwheeler, it originally was a LTZ250 with a john deere 440 snowmobile engine in it, we ended up making it a 10 foot long sand dragger, fun times....no brakes though and the killswitch never worked so you couldent stop when the gas got stuck, had to pull the plug caps to shut it down. i got youtube videos somewhere, oh here it is,
