Reserve is set at $1500, coincidentally, that is about the going rate for a decent shape good running 350X machine.
Interesting. Buy it now at $1700!?!
Makes those cherry $3500 350X's we have been seeing lately seem not so outrageous.

Kind of makes me want to sell mine! lol (no, I don't)

I wonder how many of these there are, it seems like another is on ebay every-other week. And what happened to all the other trikes? Was it only the 350X that was cut up? How many '86 125m crate moters are there out there... I only see 350 motors and on occation a 250r motor.

I would think 86 250r engines went into racing quads long ago. If you properly maintain a 350x engine, they will last quite a long time. I may be wrong but it seems the 4 stroke enges seem to be a bit more reliable and will normally outlast a 2 stroke. I don't know if it has to do with the 2 stroke turning more rpm's than a 4 stroke normally does or not. Maybe the 350x was just not as popular or there were more leftover due to the fact that they were more expensive than a 250r. I do know a guy who put a crate engine into a 300ex though.

that is a bit over priced in my opinion. A mint 1971 atc90 would barely make that.
