I am interested in this machine, but don't have funds at the moment. What do you guys think about it? Is it a good deal that I should jump for?

I have a '79 and an '85 110, so I wouldn't mind upgrading the '85 to a Big Red.

Last question, what is the difference between the the '85 and '86 Big Red? Chain drive vs. shaft drive, and the '86 has a better carb? I didn't find that written anywhere, so I just wanted to confirm...

I dont think there is a difference between the 85 and 86 they are both shaft drive. the 83 big red was chain drive and 200cc and the 84 was shaft drive but completely different from the 85 250es
