    tecate cdi

    Wondering if the 84-87 tecate cdi is interchangeable? If not, anything else work without changing out the entire system?

    '84,'86 and '87 all used the same CDI...same part #. 21119-1074. '85 uses a different part #. 21119-1166. What the difference is...I'm not sure. Never owned an '85.

    So the answer to your question is yes...they will interchange
