    250r rebuild question

    hey im about to rebuild the top end in my 250r 1984 and i was just wondering if i can do this with out pulling the motor?

    yes you should be able just to pull the head and then the cylinder off. You might also be able to leave the head tight to the cylinder and remove the cylinder and head as one assembly as not to need a new head gasket.

    thanks i got it all of but im gunna redo the head gasket right away while i have it riped down THANKS! one more question im going ned to bore it out because its completly F*#^$* what would you recoment a good bore size .10 over would make the cylender clean enuff to run.

    Just bring it to your bore-guy. He will rough it out and let you know what piston to buy. A pic aint gonna do any good.

    just don't bore it much or you'll mess up your port angles and it wont be as powerful
