    250R guys, please help!

I have a 2006 Honda Ruckus that I'm willing to trade. I kid contacted me with this: http://tulsa.craigslist.org/mcy/1589115697.html

Is there anything different about the early 250'S? Anything to stay away from?

I'm not really into these, I would rather have a 200x.

    Please advise.

    thanks, Matt

Good fixer. paint still on cyl. make sure the brakes are fixable. Bearings, bars, tires and good topend job, that thing will rock. If he's the original owner find out what oil/ratio he's using cause it works, the bike is still alive after this long he doing something right..Good luck.... Beets

Well, nobody can really tell you what you would like more. I like a 200X as much as anyone could, but I would have a hard time taking an X over an '82 R in equal condition. Both are great machines, mind you, but I'm a 2-stroke fan....so my opinion is a bit biased.

I've rode 200X's since they came out in '83, and my stepdad had a cherry '82 R in '86. I love both of them.

Easy way out: Score the R now and get an X when a good deal comes up and have it both ways.
