Centeral New York Riding

I am looking for some nice trails that are as dry as possible. My parents own about 30 acres of land but almost all of it is just fields, not too fun for riding. I have heard about trails up north but I have never been. Also checked out trailpass.com, looks pretty cool but first I have to get all the paperwork completed to be legal. (registration, insurance) Where do all of you guys around the Syracuse area ride?

When you say up north are you talking about tug hill? I've been up there and it's fun but a lot of the trails are dirt roads. There are hardly any "real trails" up there. Trail pass is going to be great, they've worked with my atv club a lot (NYTRO). The only problem is you can't have a trike, even if it is legal. Their insurance doesn't cover 3 wheelers unfortunatly. The owner of trail pass has come to some of our club meeting and has been on a few club rides with us. The club i'm in has riding areas and has a lot of info on up coming poker runs and rides around the area. Threewheelers are welcome in the club, i've got my Z and 185s registered and insured for the club. When I first got back into atv's this spring I didn't think i'd have any places to ride, but now I go as much as I want and it's all legal (nothing worse than having to worry about getting a ticket when your riding).
