    zinger rear wheels dont move

    I just purchased a singer lastnight. I have yet to have it running but the rear wheels will not spin freely. Curious if anyone has had this happen and if they can point me in the right direction.

    the motor turns freely? , start with easy first,,,pull the clutch cover and inspect the clutch.

    if all good then,, pull the rear end out.. check the shaft.. shafts good .. then pull apart the rear end..

    That last trike I bought had the same issue, after beating my head around trying to find the complicated solution for awhile, I realized there was no complicated solution, the damn brakes were stuck.
    If you can't fix it with a , its an electrical problem.

    85 ATC 200s--Ratted out and not running at the moment

    86 ATC 200x--All stock other than the handle bars

    85 ATC 250es Big Red -- Just got new rubbers and she wants to ride!!

    Sounds like the brake shoes to me . Let them sit to long they get stuck to the drum and get jamed .
