    The rumors can now lay to rest....Just got off the phone with Chris from Clark Gas Tanks! Tecate tanks will be available within the next week any color! This is great news for us Tecate guys!

    I'm sure its for the 1st gen. I dont know if there is enough 86-87 units around to justify a production run.

    They finally start making tanks as soon as Maier STOPS making fenders. Nice.

    talk about backwards production........i'd think theres nuff of OEM floating around per ebay searches but non the less a new new tank always looks good.

    Maier does not make fenders or shrouds for 86 Tecate. Besides you can get OEM fenders new still that are better than maier and cheaper. Better hurry up though before they get discontinued too!! For shrouds Hornetpowersports makes them. Believe it or not you tank is much better than alot of the ones out there, treat it nicely.
