I agree, restore that particular bike to original! The only place you see them tires, is in the Early brochures! Then you ended up with the blue on top of it. I would go with a factory restore also! There would be no question! Not to mention, just an idea for now. But you can put inner tubes in those tires.
Just my opinion:
If you want a rider for your kids, sell that, take your profit and buy a different trike (heck, maybe 2) if you got that real cheap. Someone will pay you enough for that to buy a nice shape (running machine).
I have ridden a US90 just like yours and can tell you the handling is not like any trike / quad you have ever ridden. Due to the handling characteristics (and rarity and price) of those balloon tires, it is not a good choice as a kids rider.
Clean it up real nice, post up some good pictures, and watch the offers roll in from collectors. OR
Save it for a complete restore someday and buy another trike for your kids to ride.
I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I just want you to make a good decision.
What is it worth like it sits?
i wouldnt ride that bike, its nearly 40 years old. it should be cleaned up and sold. a honda dealer near me buys old toys in stock form to hang up and display. if you clean it up im sure you can get a grand for it. its too rare to swap things out and then ride.
if not put it in your living room for a converastional peice.
Wow. This thread is getting all blown out by alot of people who don't know. There's been maybe 3 people on here who have had good info. Firstly, no Christmas edition 90/110s period. And as for what Andrew Hyman said, bank on that. Andrew probably even has nos Baloon tires for sale. As for tubes in the baloon tires, NO! The baloon tires were molded one piece to the rims. Is it worth $1000, I seriously doubt it. Even though the trike seems fairly complete from the pictures you've posted with little or no detail trikes aren't bringing all that mauch, but you could get the 2 bidders on ebay who just have to have this trike. But then again, you could get the schmoo that bids the trike up and then retracts his bid at the last minute of the auction and there you sit. Put the trike on CL and you'll get the guys from Africa who offer to send you a $10,000 dollar check and you send them your trike and the change. LOL IF you want to sell, take your chances, but I don't think you'll be turning this trike into your kids college fund. Don't expect high numbers, if you get them then you are lucky, but don't be disappoionted if you don't. And to do a rear restore on this trike, the tires willl be 75% of the cost of the restore. Just ask andrew or vintagemotorsports. They provide nos parts or vintagemotorsports will restore your whole trike. Vintage has done trikes for the "Honda Museum" in Japan! They are the real deal and they know and do this for a living. Best of luck with whatever you decide, but don't get caught up in what most of these people say that you are sitting on mechanical gold. You have a nice and neat trike, but the value is determined by the buyer and what the market will hold. And except for a few certain parts and a few certain crazies, well, alot of people have been disappointed by listening to alot of people who just don't know. I'm not trying to discourage you as I'd like to see you fix the trike up real nice and ride it around with non balloon tires. If you want to really put the shine to it, then I would advise you make it as nice as you can afford to and put it on display with whatever balloon tires you can get. As far as a restore, very few people on here have had thier trikes "restored" as they came from the factory. That is a serious commitment of time and money. But I can say without a doubt that vintagemotorsports are the people for the job if that's the way you want to go.

Thanks Vealmonkey! I feel you have offered some good sound advice. It has not really been my plan to "fully restore" the trike, nor do I wanna just fix up and let my son ride. I would like to see it be somethings of some value and setting in my garage with my other rare ride...... I plan to clean it up, and post some pics and go from there. If the right offer comes along so be it. Until then it may just stay in the garage. The spare has a crack and seems to leak some air so not sure if it is worth the value as one said to buy other tires.... The front is the same way. I knew the tubes were never gonna happen as I can tell it is a one piece wheel and tire.... Maybe on some honda site I can find out more about the "VIN"....
I have learned alot and several have sent pm's, so it must be worth something.... I will not sell till i get better Ideal on bike. Also was invited to bring it to a night class for small engines and we tear it down and clean it back up and get it running. Sounds like a cool project for a night class......
Thanks for all the info so far. Still reading.
Clean as good as possible, buy that one tire. Sale to a crazy collector for an ass load of money. Then buy a trike that's more common and easier to justify riding.

How did i miss this thread till now, Lots of mixed opinions here . I can tell you right off i love seeing US90s coming straight from the barn they are just too cool to look at and just think if that machine could talk the stories it could tell you about the last 40 years . Just think about it thats a long time ago when these bikes started a whole new sport . I can answer most of the questions in a few short words . Is this bike worth any large amount of money answer NO. Is this bike an all original 1970-71 Honda US90 K0 in aquarious blue it sure is . everybody asumes because its old and rare its worth a mint its just not so realistically this is a $300 bike all the hard parts that are needed to pull off a nice resto are junk #1 item the tires . I would love to see a bike like this one become restored back to its original glory witch I can do for the price tag off 10K , you really have to have a strong sentimental value to something to commit to a project like this , but I think it would be just as cool given a good bath and a major detailing and hang it on the wall for people to admire . if you need parts or advice shoot me an email mike@vintagemotorsports.net
below are some pics of an aquarious blue US90 I restored . cool find you got there enjoy it !! Mike
My problem is I like the used look. How it is to me adds character. Will I spend 10k on this bike, no way. I may keep it and put it away for now. Think the value in like 20 more years. Lol. Thanks for the heads up and I maybe in touch.
Thanks, J
