I know of a guy that's sellin a '83 200x for $300 obo. Says it runs and drives and shifts through all the gears fine. Has a nice lookin seat too. Gas tank is from a 5 horse Briggs from the look of it. Front half of the fender is busted off and the rears look like they would look better if taken off completely. He was askin $550 a week ago. Might call him an check it out tomorrow. Offer maybe 200 or 250. Whatdaya all think? Thanks.....Matt

do it! sounds like a fun project, trikes that need work are the best kind. then you get to build it yourself and make it your own, and the feeling of riding something you build is awesome and gives a peace of mind because u know its right and not redneck rigged. lmao

It runs and drives. No lights work so I can't really test er out on the lake till tomorrow. Front breaks work, rears do not, but looks like everythings there.It's got a twist throttle now, that's gotta go. Needs plastics and a tank and a rear light assembly. No upper motor mount at all so I need one of those too.No right foot pes or bracket either. Rear shock seems toast. Tires need replacing. Muffler in bent to hell. Gonna need a lot of parts and even more love, but I'm stoked to have a project. Gonna have to see if Monroemike has a manual for it, he has hooked me up with a couple different manuals already. The 200s just wasn't enough. Tomorrow I'll try to take and post some crappy cell phone pics in a new thread.....Matt

The running engine alone is worth that. I just got mine for $100, not running, no tires/hubs, and needs seat/plastics/tank.

if you need any parts im parting one, normaly seems people can find a running 200x these days in ok shape for $300 so you did good.
