    Changing of rear brakes

    ok ive been looking through the service manual and it just seems like im doing so much to change the rear brake pads...is there an easier way to change them?

    Not really unless you think using a cutting torch would be considerd quicker. But I guess that presents its' own problmes. LOL Why would you even ask if there is a different way? The manual way is the right way. And it tells you how to take it apart and put back together again. That's about as quick and easy as it gets. Best of luck with your project. Welcome to the boards.     Am I missing something here? I don't see what kind of trike he has listed anywhere.

    oh sorry i forgot its 200 big red 83'. and it just kinda seems ridiculous to take off the axle to just get to the brakes ya know? its an online manual and its very vague thats why its confusing me.

    ok do you see on page 168? there is the brake drum cover i obviously have that off but see the silver thing under it? does that come off i am just really confused sorry
