    Tri-z head's 1's & 2's....

    just going through a few heads today gonna have a few done up... Must be blind but never noticed the 1 and 2 on top of the head before.. anyone know the difference? older / newer?

    anyone check there bone stockers Z's for me and let me know if ones a 85 or a 86...

    huh im going to have to look at my head. wonder if it has anything to do with the 85/85.5 switch?

    You hit it on the head. One is 85 and the other is 86. I think that the number 1 is 86, I cant remember. Dont think there is any difference though. If you ever noticed on the 86 cylinder the part number prefix 38W has a 01 next to it. It looks as 38W01. Check it out. The 86 cylinder has revised porting, I know that.

    Ya ,, I know how to spot the 86 cylinders , just never noticed the numbers on the heads... Hey Nathen.. they wont be the same when I'm done... Racerguy ... Dam ,,I forgot about that!
