I would use the term restored on this bike very loosely for 1000 you probably cant go wrong if the tires are good but pictures usually make things look better than they are in person and i am seeing alot of wrong things that were done but wait till you get it in pop the rear fenders off and shoot some pics and we can tell you whats right or wrong good news is most of that stuff is easily fixable still for 1k not a bad deal
Thanks guys. I have absolutly no idea about these little bikes except the tires are almost impossible to find. I am hoping I did'nt buy a lemon. Guy said it drove perfect and everything works perfect. we shall see. I will send you some pics to see what I need to get this going in the proper direction. First thing will be to put new tank decals on the right way.
Vintage, i did get it froim the guy on ebay. hopefully have it in a few weeks, then we can get it on track.

that 90 is just awesome. Just keep it the low range gears to tool around in the yard. And practice your wheelies!!!!!hehe. When i was 9 my uncle kicked down his 1977 90 "pumped" to a 107 big bore kit before the 110 came out. I quickly learned that if you put it in gear (any gear) you can push down on the shifter a little with your foot and it would allow the auto clutch to slip a little so you could get the revs up and the let off of the gear lightly to get the front end up easier. Just like popping a wheelie on a trike with a clutch. Sorry to ramble, i would have paid a little bit more than what you paid for that if i was in the market for another trike. That green is just bitchen looking!!!!!

That thing is awesome. If you are keeping it for a rider I would sell the tires, from what I here they are worth a fortune. I have heard they go for $250 ea. or more, but that was on a post and I am not an expert on vintage tire prices. But if that is right you would have paid only $300 for a real nice US90.

That was my plan, use the money to buy a nice set of tires for riding. I am sure somebody who wants an original bike would love these tires. Supposedly they are patch/ puncture free, and hold air forever.
I would just ruin them by riding where I live.
    cheers

i dont remember on my 73 90 , those being stickers, mine is yellow paint if i remember, with a wide black pin stripe around the outside to cover the paint line..maybe those are decals on yours. i have spare tires for mine, mine have no plugs or dryrotting. i bought mine , for $450, 5 yrs. ago, and its real nice like yours is.

$ wow $450..you wanna sell it?
i think you are right about the decals , i hope the guy who restored the bike painted the yellow so I can fix the pin stripes. Are your spares original balloons or do you have the adapters w/ rims the guys are telling me to get?
