    350x sprocket sizes

    i just bought a 1986 350x im a big guy 375 lbs the thing flies even with me on it but i was thinking about changing the sprockett sizes from 13/40 to 12/42 how much difference will this make ?

    If you want to gear it down just try the front sprocket first and see what you think. They are cheaper and easyer to change IMO.

    I like to try to run the smallest rear sprocket I can for ground clearence. So I would start with the front sprocket and fine tune if need be with a rear sprocket.

    When it come's to catalogue shopping on the 350X sprocket's ,your only gonna find a 40 tooth for the rear.Now as far as the front you have option's from a 12 to a 14 tooth only I believe.But in my travel's i've only found 40 on the rear.
