200x Clutch adjustment

I want to try to udjust the clutch on my 85 200x, it slips a little whe I goose it but is otherwise fine.

Is this easy to do or should I take it to a professional?

I adjusted the clutch on my 82 atc200 but this is obviously different
Any help/info would be greatlyy appreciated!

the only adjustment their is on a 200x is in the cable . You should have just a little slack in the clutch cable . sound like you need new plates .

your cable properly tight???[adjudsted].you may need new clutch disks.

Are you sure you adjusted it properly? There should be just a little bit of slack on the clutch handle (just very slight, like 1/8") which will keep everything as tight as possible, but release the clutch completely.
