Question for the NOS part hunters.

I have recently discovered a new OEM 1986-87 ATC200X "front" fender in another country, I have not seen one in many years. The U.S. inventory for discontinued ATC parts are depleted but parts were distributed all over the world in many countries. Has anyone tried to search for parts in another country????? I have just started and already have found this fender and the off/on switch for a low price and I just begun searching. This is sooo kewl!

4 years ago I contacted every dealer in canada and came up with some great finds which included 2 350x tacho's and 4 NOS atc covers among other things. Some were willing to talk , some werent, and some spoke no english. Yes there are other guys who have searched other countries with some good finds. Congrats and good luck....I know how time consuming it can be.

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

I actually just googled it, just type in anything that comes to mind such as 'atv parts canada" . This can be time consuming but you will hit a gold mine sooner or later. Think about it, parts were distributed somewhere around 30 countries, There are dealerships with NOS fenders etc in their old stock somewhere in some foreign country. I know because I just found this fender and it's rare to find new. The U.S. IS NOT COMPLTELY out of discontinued parts because I found a OEM NEW ATC250SX rear fender not long ago. There is alot of dealer ships out there. more than you think.

I have found alot of extremly rare parts in Italy and south america. It is nice to have open access to translators though because communication is very difficult.
