    250sx axle removal ????

    will the axle come out without removing the brake housing. I have the rear end off, and i could only get the gear case side hub off. I have nothing to put any resistance on the axle to get the other hub nut off. Since the axle is driven out the right side anyway will it come out ?? I dont want to start beating on it if it wont come apart that way.

    No. Brake housing must come off. Just did this myself with Jim's SX.

    thanks man. Glad i didnt just start beating on it!! i will have to find some way to brace the axle. If i have to i will put it back together to break it loose, hopefully i can figure something else out.
