    250r kicker assembly need help ASAP

    I re assembled my kicker after replacing the gear and now it won't spring back up.

    What the heck did I do wrong.

    I'm really confused and scratching the noggin on this one

    Update :

    That was re-assembled with the side cover properly bolted on.

    Now that i took off the gasket and promptly ruined it, re assembled without the gasket on it, it works fine.

    What the heck is going on.

    Anyone? I now have to scramble to find another gasket for tomorrow.

    Could be the pawl return sticking, or there could be a small burr catching on the case bushing/boss the shaft goes through.
