when i tighten up my pulse generator base my engine gets real hard to turn . when i loosen it its frees up and engine runs fine.
is there some kind of thick gasket or spacer that goes on the base to the head or only the O ring ?
it runs fine but it leaks some oil when its not tight .

sounds like the cam bearing wasnt set right . did you just rebuild the head and have it apart ? are you using a gasket at the advancer cover ?

no it wasnt rebuilt yet. and it happens on 2 diffrent heads. there is only an O ring on the base right now ? gasket missing i guess ?
