81 250r, is it worth the hassle?

Im thinking of getting a 81 250r that needs work to it, my question is, is it worth all the hassle of doing it or should i just get a 85-86 and be done with it? are the parts fairly easy to come by? are they costly? thanks

Just get a 85-86 you'll be 10 times happier with it, trust me.

I just picked up 2 rolling chassis 1 is in very good shape the other for parts. He tossed in a buildable motor to boot. Money is the reason I got this and not 85/86 but one day it'll come.
