    350x exhaust opinions

Found a deal on a new in the box full cobra exhaust for $150. I'm pretty sure it is not the quiet series one but I'm waiting for a reply from the guy to verify. My issue is i dont want my bike to be too obnoxiously loud. Wondering how loud these pipes are and if i should go for it or try to fabricate my stock 400ex muffler to fit on there. Has anyone done this? I know a few have done the 450r pipe but wondering how much fabrication would be needed for the 400ex. Or should i just try to find a 450r muffler instead?

If it's the cobra jet it will be quieter then the normal cobra silencer. I love cobra head pipes so I'dget it and decide later if you want to change the silencer.

You can always add the Supertrapp type discs like I did with the DG Krome on my 350X. If you look through my posts you'll find a few discussing how to do it.
