I have another ATC 90 that has a bad coil. I can get a one wire coil cheaper but how does one wire it into this system. I pulled my atc 90 harness apart to understand what goes where. I put my harness and coil on the other 90 and it fired right up.

do you have a wiring diagram?
A signal comes from the points to tell the coil when to fire.
The only other connection is ground for the coil
and then the fat one to the sparkler
Their are two wires coming off the coil. A power coming off the stator, one going to the condensor and then the points. And one wire is grounded to the case and goes to the kill switch. The kill switch must complete the ground circuit.
