    What year engine for a 300SX?

    I have a lead on a 2wd, TRX300; seller is not sure if it is a 91 or 94. Will either year engine fit in the SX frame? Pic...



    Need to know soon!
    15T3FN1 CE/FI/SI with a Class A; Some of you might know what that means.

    the TRX300 engine is identical from 89 to 99.

    The engine runs really good! The rest of the machine is downright scary!

    Trying to figure out what year the engine is, does anyone know how to look up the engine serial number? TE14E - 8034955

    Look for the VIN on the frame between the front wheels I believe. http://decodemyvin.webs.com

    This machine was cobbled together; the frame is from a '90. The seller said the engine came from another machine entirely.
