Just bought a 84 200x. Got a few ?'s

I just bought this 84 200x off of craigslist for $250. Runs great but is really rough. It is about three different colors, due to spray paint job. Was wondering if anyone knew if they made all white plastics for it. Was also wanting to see if anyone had any pics of a 84 200x they could send me to use as a example while i redo this one. If any has any plastics for sale and a complete headlight assembly let me know.
Do you guys think i over paid for this?

For plastics check out maier-mfg they sell the reproduction 200x fenders. Otherwise search ebay for decent used ones. You could always post a listing in the classifieds looking for parts.

$250 is fair. Maier makes new white, black, and red plastics front and rear last I checked a few months ago. A little elbow grease and you can have that 200x looking nice. If you want to get the paint off the fenders (I think the front is savable at least?) Try a product called Safe Strip, it comes in a tall aerosol can. Spray this stuff on any surface, let it sit overnight, and the paint will peel right off. It is safe on plastic, as I have used it on some of mine, and it saves you a lot of time! After using this product, I remove the loose bubbled paint with a brush, then use wet sand paper (start at 200 grit) to get the rest. Good luck!

If it runs good that's a decent price. You will probably spend at least that again making it look nice.
