    What's it worth question rm125

I have a 1976 suzuki rm125 I'm just wondering what it's worth. I put a new top end in it, first one. I bought it to restore but lost interest. It was in storage most of it's life. Bought it at a local auction where the seller took the mint tank and side panels off to sell seperate wish I would have bought them but didn't think much of it at the time. The seller did stick on a old tank that was in great shape(besides the sucky paint job). The only thing it needs it side panels and a paint job on the tank, which has no dents or rust. It runs great, nice and zippy. I was just wondering because I might get rid of it and it would be nice to know what to ask for so I don't get screwed. Here's some pics

I was hoping at least a thousand. I have more than that into it with repairs. I would really be screwed if I hadn't have been able to do my own engine work. It probably wasn't my best investment but It's fun and when I hadn't had a bike for 2 years when I bought it I was just glad to get back on 2 wheels for a change.

You could get more, just try posting on RM forums. many people try to get every generation on those. I had 3 consecutive generations of Honda CR series. I had a 77 Elsi, an 80 CR 480 and a LC CR. I sold my Bultaco to a collector and got a lot, might be worth it for your RM, since its in great condition and rare at that.

Are you gonna get up and burn an X in your head?

I would say you could get 1k out of it. it may be tough in this economy but since its so mint i would try to sell it on a vintage bike site where someone will discover it.
