gs650: project turbo suzie

I have an 81 suzuki gs650 that I want to turbo with a little 9b turbo. I got a good deal on it and the turbo has an internal waste gate set around 7psi. I think I have most of the stuff figured out, but im just not sure how well a blow through design will work with the 4 stock carbs. I am worried about pressurized air blowing backwards through the jets once the turbo spools, so my first plan is to run a 3/8" line from the charge pipe to the top of the fuel tank to pressurize the tank. I'll also seal the gas cap vent and run the carb vent lines to the charge pipe. In theory this should keep fuel pressure the same as boost pressure, so my carbs should work with boost, right? Chime in if you know anything about turbos, especially blow through carb setups. This is my first turbo project so it should be fun. I'll try to get pics as soon as I can.

I know 0 about turbos. I know Suzuki had a factory turbo back in the day. Any idea how they did it? EFI or blow through carbs or suck through one carb? I can't remember.

And I had a 81 GS650GT for years. Great bike if you like the old standards (I do). I bought it in about 94 because it had shaft drive. I only planned to keep it a few months then buy a new bike. 12 years later, my dad (60+ at the time) rode it from TX to CA where he had it painted and sold it.

Is yours the plain model or the "Katana like" model?

its the gs650gl model, so it is the basic one. Does anybody know how they make turbo banshees run? do they have a draw through setup? I'm not against making a draw through carb setup if that would work better.
