    I need a new gas cap...

    I have a honda big red Im in need of a new gas cap.. I know you can order them new but at almost 40$ new thats a lot.... does anyone on here have one for sale that still work?. Mine will not breath.. it holds pressure and will not let air in. so its a gonner.

    why not drill a new hole in it and put a breather tube in it?

    It's a 1985 big red... I'm not sure if I could drill it out it does have a hole in the bottom I like to take it apart but it seems like its crimped on.

    haha I have a 185s gas tank cap and its too little too.. Oh well i guess im gonna have to order me a a new one.

    I remember reading a post about drilling a small hole somewhere in the cap to fix this problem....but I don't remember the details....I just know that some people have done it.

    i have a 200es and mine wouldn't vent either i drilled the hole right under the wing for the on and off
    proud owner of a trx300ex quad and an 85 atc 70
