86 200x wont start help please

i started my bike up was running fine all day then it jus bogged out and died the compression is all there and everything but when i looked at it i took aprt the kill swich wasint that then i shecked to see if it was getting spark and it wasint what could it be any ideas

Likely to be a fuel problem, check your fuel line to make sure your tank or petcock is not clogged. It also could be your carb, may need a cleaning to, clean all your jets. Maybe you run out of gas? lol

got the same problem with my 86 200x took off the petcock and it was clogged also think i shorted out my cdi? good luck and check your plug cap had to replace mine as well.

Ok well I thought you had spark, since you don't. Did you go though any water? I would start at the coil, then check the stator leads if you have a multimeter.

Or if you do have spark, there's only gas and air left. Check your air filter. I don't see how it could be the carb, unless your gas had rust in it and a jet clogged.

The only time my X did this, my oil pump went out. haha
