    Cool I have a chance to buy an 84 tecate 250 three wheeler for 300 bucks should I

    The bad first is it needs new rear plastic and the kick starter dont return back but other than that it starts rite up and runs good just wonderin if it would be a good deal and if i could still get any of the parts to fix it thanks

    Buy it but keep in mind maier does not make plastic for this bike anymore so if your up for a challange getting plastics for it then buy it.

    There are still outfits selling off stock from Maier.... But they aren't producing them anymore at the moment....So if you want plastics buy soon!...

    I was in the same boat as you... I bought an 85 needing work last October for $400... But I had to drive from WA to MT to get it... If I were you...I'd buy it.
