    speedometer

I have a KMH speedometer and i have read somewhere of people taking them apart and making a sticker to show MPH. Has anyone done this or is it false hope. How do you get the speedo apart? thanks

personnaly, i got a bike digital speedometer
    works great even in mud
bought for 20 bucks and has plenty functions
you can also change it for mph or kmh
theres also wireless bike speedo which i never tried about 30-40 bucks
of course its not as precise than cable speedo but its still really close for the speed indicating

maybe it didnt answer your question but i wanted to tell you my opinion

ive got it on my banshee but it will be a future mod on the tri-z whenever i get it up and running. it was pretty easy to setup. i used a hand held gps to set the speedo and its pretty accurate.

    my trike is a 85 250sx
it wasnt hard at all to set it there
just got a strong magnet from bucks shop or even a hard drive magnet(super strong) sticked it on the side of the rim
centrifugal force keeps it there even at high speed and in mud
for the wire sensor just use some tie rap
