a stripped spark plug hole is no reason to junk something,its a pretty easy fix.

anyone know the thread size/pitch etc. for the spark plugs on these bike motors? I want to make sure I get the correct kit
All the info is on the spark plug. If you have an NGK in there this chart will tell you everything. Otherwise get the NGK number out of the manual.

Nice find! Junk yard deals are the best!! I found a complete 70 and a parts 185 at a scrap yard near me last summer. I cleaned the carb on the 70 and was ridein it that nite. It even had tires like new and a clark tank on it. Its amazing what some people throw away.
