    Rings

    Quick Question,

    Are Piston Rings Different from the top and bottom on 2 strokes? I have an 83 250r got some standard size rings, and heard there is a top and a bottom. I have looked at the rings over and over and they both look the same, They Just have the N or manufacture marking???

    On 2 strokes when they speak about top and bottom, they mean the side that the ring faces up.... The markings always face up! Also don't forget to check your ring end gap....
