    hi i need some help with 85 200m spark problem plzzzz and thank you

    hi i just got a near mint 1985 200m but i have no spark and changed spark plug and coil soo i know there is powwer coming from black wire from magnito and the green wire going to the coil is givving powwer soo im just wondering what wires give powwer from magnito and ps im useing a cheep tester that has a light on it...thanx

    sorry but not familiar 85 200m altho I've just been thru an 87es, 85sx and 85 es (plus a few others ) in the last few weeks.

    does that have electric start?
    if it does, try disconnecting the battery and use the pull or kick start to check for spark.
    If it is elec start there is a reverse or neutral safety switch under some cover under the rt side of the engine that commonly comes loose and needs to be grounded to run.

    What else can you tell me?
    Neutral light on?
