    Beaver Dunes Oklahoma

    Me and Smokinwrench are going to spend a few hours at Beaver Dunes tomorrow (Sunday). If any of you folks in SW Kansas, Central or Western OK, Texas panhandle or Southern Colorado want to join in, it's not that far a drive (3 hrs or less), and you're more than welcome. Beaver State Park is in the panhandle, just to the North side of Beaver OK.

    I'm ready finally. I have been working on trikes and quads all day.

    Hey Mountain I'll be in a 94 blue ford extened cab. I'll stay right around the front area until you get there or vice versa I guess. We will have the yellow trizinger and my 250R.

    WOW, What a fun day, I met a few great guys today Mountain Rider and his kid and 3 other young guys (2 with trikes).

    I know me and lil smoke had fun (especially lil) he rode almost all day and he was mad that we had to leave. Mtn Rdr had some bad luck LOL. Damn carbs anyway. Hey little Mtn hows that leg and foot, if ya get a cast can I sign it on Sept 20 when you come back.

    What made this trip even better was the fact that my R (or should I say leg killer) ran perfect the entire timeand the weather was just perfect most of the day. I wish I could say the same for that 1986 250R .

    i would like to sneek over to beaver dunes sometime, we were at little sahara last weekend with the kids. nobody was there, camping was choice. alot of buggys tore up the sand and with absolutely no wind it stayed rough all weekend. left early sunday after a miss hap on the trails. (ran into a kid and a chain reaction happend, every trike and quad was damaged) we will be going back oct. 11th weekend. is there any campiong at beaver dunes?

    Yes they have a nice looking camping area, but I have never stayed there. I will try to get some info on it when I go down the next time. Beaver also has 300 acres of riding area and it is almost all trails. There is only one open area that is barely big enough for a drag strip.
