    Post 225dx carb ?

my 85 225dx was running a little rough, idling high in neutral but nothing major. so i couldn't find a rebiuld kit so i just took the carb apart and cleaned it well and reassembled it and my trike ran like a dream. Well at least for a week then as i was hauling ass acrossed a field it started running rough and died on me. after that it wouldn't start without the choke on but with the choke on it idles high. any ideal what would have made it go back to running rough. should i just pull the carb off and clean it again. im sure that cleaning it again will fix it but i dont want to have to pull the carb once a week to clean it. Im running fresh gas and i've also recently changed the petcock so the filters on that are perfect. i plan on adding an inline filter hoping that will help. thanks in advance for any help Kirby
