how clean do you guys keep your trikes?

seems like i aint happy unless my trikes are spotless. prob is, i also ride them alot. if i load em on the trailer and make the 60 second drive to the carwash it costs me $6 to get all 3 trikes really clean. what do you guys do? obviously im talking about the riders not the show bikes. i guess it doesnt help when the mud down here is really coliche (sp.?) and sticks like crazy. i guess i should invest in a power washer. still wont have that engine degreaser that the carwash has though.................

For me it depends on the trike, I keep some really clean and others I ride hard and put away dirty. Those get washed when I need to fix something.

I like to keep mine pretty clean. In the warmer months I pressure wash em after riding if they get real dirty. In the winter on the lake it really isn't a problem.

I keep my ATC's spotless because mud/sand will cause rust and can damage painted , anodized parts if not cleaned for long periods of time.

man that TRX is sick Casey!! Probably alot easier to keep things lookin tip top when you live in the SANDBOX !!

I like to keep my stuff clean!! I try to wash my stuff right after i ride, especially if i get into any serious mud!! It comes off alot easier when its fresh and still soft!! Not to mention what it does for the life of the finish + function of parts!!

I only pressure wash, I don't sit there and polish for hours upon hours. I am the type of guy that really does not want anything that high maintenance, I just want it to work the way I want it to work

I wash my race R after every race, its gets a full wash filter/oil change every race. It also gets a post race check over, tighten bolts etc. Then it gets a solid coating of silicone spray to help keep the shine/shed mud and dirt and generally give it a good protective coating.

Not clean enough. I'm really happy when I find time to ride it. But my oil is always clean, just not the outside of the trike. But this summer I'm going to give it some TLC. Right now I think the dirt makes it look better. It wouldn't really clean up much with just a cleaning. It needs some paint to be any kind of shiny.
