I guess I have been lucky. I live in a desert (both in Wyoming and now in Nevada), so we don't see much mud here unless you really go looking for it. My ohv's stay pretty clean, but just get dusty. I usually won't clean them unless they get really muddy, then I just swing by a car wash on the way home, or if I am at my house I just hit them with the garden hose. I am also lucky that they don't salt the roads here. I think it's funny that when I lived in St. Louis MO they would coat the roads with salt everytime it got cold, but we can get 3' of snow/ice here in Reno and they don't put anything on the roads, half of the time they don't even plow them.
