    I need shock help

(First time I ever took a shock apart). I figured there might be some oil in it so I tried to be REAL careful but clumsy ME, I spilled it all over the place. My question is, How much oil should I put back in it? Full? And what kind of oil? Fork oil? What was in it was very light. About like water. Whoever made this beauty wasn't so proud to put their name on it but it is American. All USA seals and O'Rings. Not metric. Help me out fellas. What should I do?

    thats a works performance shock. probably 1/2 inch shaft. email them and you can get a seal kit for it.

    It does have a 1/2 inch shaft and I bought a lower seal at the local bearing store. I need to know about the oil. Thanks for the response. I will e-mail Works.

    84 Big Red- User
    85 250SX- clean
